*Photo from The Rink Live* Series tied 2-2     Just like that, we have a brand new series. Wyatt Johnston scored, Evgenii Dadonov had a goal, and the Dallas Stars defeated the Vegas Golden Knights with a 4-2 victory Monday night in Las Vegas.    The Stars have won two straight game to tie the series 2-2 through 4 games. The road team through the 4 games played is undefeated, which creates an interesting situation with the Stars having home ice advantage in two of the final 3 possible games.    Dallas goalie Jake Oettinger said of coming back in the series that "It’s not surprising to anyone in this room. We felt good about our game in Dallas, it just didn’t go the way we wanted to. Series go a million different ways. It’s not always how you draw it up. Teams have back from down 3-0, 3-1. It’s not over unless you give up. No one in here is giving up."    Michael Amadio started the scoring in this one, giving the Golden Knights a 1-0 lead on his first goal of the playoffs. With

*Photo from KSL Sports* Vegas leads series 2-1     This is getting fun now. Jason Robertson dished out a pair of assists, Wyatt Johnston scored twice, and the Dallas Stars defeated the Vegas Golden Knights with a 3-2 overtime victory Saturday night in Las Vegas.    After losing the first two games of the series at home, the Stars went on the road and took care of business in game 3, winning in overtime to halve their series deficit. Behind Johnston and Robertson's two point games plus a goal and an assist from Miro Heiskanen, the Stars ensured at least a 5th game.    Dallas head coach Pete Deboer said of the win that "I loved the first period. I think we did some really good things. Executed at a high, high level and had great desperation to our game. Our game’s building, you know, Game 2 was better than Game 1. Game 3 was better than Game 2. So that's a great sign for me on our group."    It was the Stars who got things going in this one. Johnston scored his first go

Bruins open up commanding series lead with second straight road win

James van Riemsdyk scored, Brad Marchand had a goal and an assist, and the Boston Bruins defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs with a 3-1 victory Saturday night in Toronto.    Winning two straight road games has put the Bruins one win away from knocking out the Maple Leafs in the first round for the 4th time in 11 years. A big reason why has been Marchand, who scored his 56th playoff goal to become the new Bruins leader in playoff goals, passing Cam Neely.    Bruins alternate captain David Pastrnak said of Marchand that "He creates so much for our team, not only the production that is coming right now last couple games for him, but he’s all over the ice. He’s killing penalties for us, he’s playing big minutes. He’s our captain and he definitely led us the right way the last two games, and it’s easy to follow when your captain is doing that."    The only goal of the first period cam

The Lightning want to be the 5th.    Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman said of the win that "We came out with fire and we got rewarded. Special teams was big, power play, short-handed, 4-on-4, those were the kind of goals we got and that's big for us. They pushed back in the second, but I thought we had a tremendous third and deserved the win."    Stamkos gave the Lightning a 1-0 lead in the first period with a power play goal assisted by Hagel and Brayden Point. With the Lightning shorthanded 12:0

And that’s exactly what happened. But Freddie came up with a couple of huge saves and that's the difference in the game."    The Hurricanes staked themselves to an early lead on the road. We've been getting some unbelievable goaltending, that's really weathered the storm for us."    The only goal of the first period came from Tkachu

So, we’ll take it."    Valeri Nichushkin gave the Avalanche a 1-0 l

In the announcement of his extension, Fleury also said next year will be his last in the NHL.    Fleury said "I would say early things were a little tough for the team, for me personally. I really thought this was going to be it. As the year went on, start winning a bit more, start having some fun a bit more. Still love to compete, love to battle with the guys out there and it’s what’s ultimately driving me to keep living the dream and go for one more. A lot of guys have said, guys I know, play as long as you can. If you stop too early you regret it. I'm very lucky to have the support that the Wild are

We enjoyed that process. It's special. That's why we play hockey. You want to be in that type of atmosphere, you want to be in, and we beat pretty good teams to be able to make it."    It was Ovechkin who started the scor
