Series tied 2-2
Whenever there's time on the clock, the Edmonton Oilers are always in it. Leon Draisaitl had two goals and an assist, Zach Hyman scored the game winning goal, and the Oilers beat the Los Angeles Kings 5-4 in overtime on Sunday.

Trailing by three goals early in the game, the Oilers scored 5 of the next 6 goals to pick up a big series tying win, forcing a game 6 in the process. Connor McDavid also had a big game with 3 assists while Evan Bouchard had two assists and a goal.

Draisaitl said after the game that "I think all playoff games are big tests, but this one was massive for our group. I thought we responded well. It is not an easy team to come back against. We came back in waves in the second period and put ourselves back into it."

Gabriel Vilardi started the scoring for the Kings, giving them a 1-0 lead with Kevin Fiala and Alex Iafallo assisting. Viktor Arvidsson then scored to make the lead 2-0 with assists from Trevor Moore and Phillip Danault. Anze Kopitar then made it a 3-0 game after one period, with assists coming from Fiala and Adrian Kempe.

On the power play 4:55 into the second period, Bouchard scored for the Oilers to get them on the board and make it a 3-1 game. Draisaitl then scored to cut the deficit to 3-2 on his 4th goal of the playoffs. Draisaitl then added his second goal of the night to tie the game 3-3 with Bouchard and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins assisting.

To start the 3rd period, Matt Roy put the Kings back in front, making it a 4-3 game with Arvidsson and Danault getting assists. With 3:02 left in the game, Evander Kane scored for the Oilers, tying the game 4-4 and forcing overtime. Hyman then won it 10:39 into overtime, assisted by Bouchard to tie the series.

Hyman said that "There's a lot of momentum swings. I think that's what playoff hockey is, the nature of playoff hockey and the game today. They're up 3-0, and then we tie it up. Some things you can't control, and you have to give yourself the best opportunity, put yourself in the best position that you don't have to worry about those bounces as much."

Getting the start for the Oilers was Stuart Skinner, who made 8 saves on 11 shots before he was pulled after one period. Jack Campbell came on after that and got credit for the win, stopping 27 of the 28 shots he saw from the Kings, good for a .964 save percentage.

It was once again Joonas Korpisalo who started for the Kings, getting his second loss of the series. Korpisalo turned aside 37 out of the 42 shots on goal the Oilers had, recording a .881 save percentage in the loss.

Kings captain Anze Kopitar said of the loss that "We can be frustrated tonight, but tomorrow's a new day and we've got to get ready for Game 5. The first period was obviously really good and the second period was not good, so there's no secret to that. We'll have to correct that going forward."

Up next, game 5 of the series is on Tuesday night as it shifts back to Edmonton. Both the Oilers and Kings will look to take a 3-2 series lead ahead of game 6.
